Copy+ - Scanning Boxes Out of Order

clock July 15, 2009 02:09 by author RKinderknecht

By Bob Saltzstein

Ever scan multiple boxes while matching the images' Bates numbers to those on the original documents, only to find after export that you scanned the boxes out of order? This can be fixed easily in Copy+. Before exporting, run a Box Index Report to see if the Bates numbers are out of order. If they are, simply merge the out of order box into the box to which it should follow. All of the images will now be in order and you can export seamlessly.

Tricks up our Copy+ sleeves

clock May 8, 2009 05:04 by author swagner

Have you ever wondered how to get a parent/child relationship in your LFP? Well here is the trick: Select a binding element that you know you will not use in this job, such as Spiral, and assign it to any images that you want to be children of the previous document. Then when you are exporting, in your export options screen, you can click or touch "Load File Options" in our beautiful, new 5.0 user interface and you will be taken to the Load File Export Options screen. Here you can select "Relational" to give a document/child/page relationship. Select Spiral as your child. Now, any image that you assigned as a Spiral will be a child of the previous document in your LFP. We have wizards creating this stuff. Embarassed

Announcing Copy+ 5.0

clock March 30, 2009 05:20 by author RKinderknecht

Create a complete case database as easily as making a photocopy.

Our new slogan goes with a brand new look for Copy+ 5.0. Copy+ has always allowed you to scan, print, and OCR in one pass. Now, the touch screen interface is so easy that you can turn your copy operators into imaging professionals. Gone, too, are the days when you had to modify each image individually. Now you can add a custom print message, deskew, despeckle, and more for an entire document or a range of images.

Endorsing with Bates labels and multi-line print messages has never been easier. A second print message was added and more font options, allowing you to produce the results your customers need.

There has never been time consuming job setup in Copy+. Now hardware setup is just as simple with advanced options and test buttons for scanning and printing right there on the hardware setup screen.

For more details of the new features, contact Support or your Sales Representative.
