Client/Server Program for Access to Image Collections
IPRO iNet is a state-of-the art, 32-bit secure client/server program that allows access to image collections over local-area networks, wide-area networks, and the Internet. Because the data collection is maintained in one location, collaboration is greatly enhanced, increasing the efficiency and quality of document review. Since a remote user is using TCP/IP to access only the iNet server, the traffic that occurs in a normal wide-area network is eliminated. This results in improved image access speed and lower network traffic per remote user, allowing time to be used effectively and deadlines to be met. Using IPRO iNet, one network may have up to 99 servers, making it easy to scale the workforce depending on the size and complexity of the project. Key components of IPRO iNet are:
Encryption All information sent to and from the image server is encrypted, including both commands and images. The encryption scheme is a proprietary IPRO algorithm.
Scalability IPRO iNet allows several hundred concurrent users to access a single server for image collection review and can support up to 99 servers, making it a highly scalable solution.
Integration The iNet application allows access to and manages remote IPRO View users, as well as gives users remote printing capabilities. Security: iNet utilizes the IPRO Suiteās user security for controlling access to cases as well as individual user privileges.
