What is IPRO eCapture?
IPRO eCapture is powerful, innovative e-discovery software designed to handle large projects with speed and scalability. Designed around a distributed, multi-threaded model, eCapture handles virtually any size e-discovery job by simply adding workstations. When a workstation is added, it automatically receives tasks from the IPRO Controller/Queue Manager and begins the discovery process without operator intervention.

Because all discovered data is indexed and hashed, more processing jobs can be run on the same data set without the risk of rediscovery. IPRO eCapture has a full-featured quality-control function and powerful export options. It also has the ability to search, filter, and cull the data before beginning the process of extracting the metadata, creating the searchable text files, de-duplicating the files, and printing the images.

With IPRO eCapture's distributed, multi-threaded design, multiple e-files can be discovered and processed on all available workstations, thereby maximizing all threads on each workstation to quickly and efficiently complete jobs.

The streamlined user interface allows one system administrator to manage and monitor multiple client projects simultaneously. The system administrator can efficiently monitor the status of each job as it is processed, the activities on each workstation, and all e-files in the queue.

Meet Deadlines
The automatic load-balancing feature makes it easy to process large or difficult e-discovery jobs and to meet deadlines without interruption. The self-healing agents on each workstation handle processing problems, such as a workstation hardware failure, and allow jobs to continue processing on other workstations. No additional staff is required to add workstations to a job, and no time is lost reorganizing work. The load-balancing feature uses all available computer power to process the largest, most difficult e-discovery files.

Because the staff needed to manage and monitor jobs is minimal, people can be easily reallocated to other tasks such as QC processing, a distributed post-processing task used to reprocess items and ensure accuracy. This level of flexibility saves time and produces a higher-quality deliverable.

Take Control
IPRO eCapture features a centralized user console, which gives you control of everything happening across all machines. The user console also lets you monitor machine activity and create reports for all jobs processed to date from the centralized SQL database, where all information is stored.

Project setup is simple and easy. A quick click allows the system administrator to review the overall status and performance of client jobs, and the centralized monitoring helps anticipate workstation problems and eliminate costly rework.

By monitoring the queue, a system administrator can estimate the time needed to complete a client's job, set client expectations correctly, and meet deadlines. The centralized controller can also be distributed to multiple project managers to enable distributed project setup, which expedites the startup process and lets managers monitor projects and provide real-time updates.

Scalable
IPRO eCapture has a typical client/server architecture, in which the controller distributes the work to the cluster of fully automated workstations. With no user interaction, workstations automatically pick up work from the centralized console as needed, making eCapture a highly scalable solution in which you just add more workstations and point them to the controller to increase daily throughput. IPRO eCapture can support enough workstations to convert 75 to 100 GB/day of electronic files to images.
