IPRO V-Secure is an add-on utility that can save money, time, and drive space while securing a network. The application utilizes a high-end, high-capacity workstation to serve as an image repository, rather than a costly file server. Should additional space be required because there are more images to store, the user can simple add hard drive space to the workstation.

Using a workstation as an image repository rather than a file server saves time and money. IPRO V-Secure allows you set up a PC with Virtual Drives for hosting on internal networks that are not part of a regular network. Therefore, users can keep adding hard drives for case collections without adding to the internal file servers.

Meet Deadlines
When using IPRO V-Secure, large image collections do not slow down the network server as they are located on a separate workstation. This allows workers on the network to complete tasks faster, increasing productivity and ensuring deadlines are can be met.

Take Control
The advanced security features of V-Secure allow the user to control access to document collections. Additionally, images can only be accessed from IPRO View workstations using the cache directory and IPRO Security. The image collection cannot be altered or deleted, because the images are not accessed via the network file system. This adds an additional layer of security ensuring that the image collection remains intact.

Secure
Without IPRO V-Secure, a user can browse through a network and view or modify tiffs or native files. With it, users do not have access to these files except through the IPRO View System, so the files can't be edited. This lets users enable viewing of the document without jeopardizing the original content.

Scalable
Because IPRO V-Secure is not part of the regular network file server, it is able to scale to the needs of the project. If needed, hard drives can be added to the IPRO V-Secure workstation for additional case collections without using additional drive space on the network.

Low Cost
Local workstation storage of image collections means total control of the amount of drive space needed for storage. The cost of ownership and maintenance is low because users only need to add space to the workstation as needed, preventing additional costs.
