IPRO's OCR utility is an optical character recognition product that works inside the IPRO View suite. After using IPRO OCR to create a searchable text file from any IPRO supported image file format, these results can then be keyword searched, tagged, coded, and even exported into a third party database. IPRO OCR Client/Server uses distributive processing through the use of multiple workstations (Clients) that receive jobs from the Server.

With this application, litigation support professionals are quickly able to turnaround their own OCR work in-house, improving efficiency while saving time and money. Additionally, IPRO OCR Client/Server has industrial strength distributed processing, so a user can assign up to 20 client PCs (per Server) to get project done quickly.

Meet Deadlines
IPRO OCR saves time by improving organization and decreasing data retrieval time to ensure deadlines are consistently met. Each page of text is linked to the image it came from for reference and control purposes. The text can then be keyword searched, tagged, coded, or exported into third party databases.

Take Control
IPRO OCR offers a variety of ways for the user to take control of the data processing. Users may specify the range they wish to OCR from and whether they would like it done at page level or document level. Additionally, output can be a single plain ASCII file, one file per page, one file per document, DocID format, or Word List LFP.

Scalable
The utility allows additional clients to be added to the configuration, as the demand for OCR capability increases. This allows customers to increase their technology investment to match their needs.

Compatible
Because the IPRO OCR utility is integrated into the IPRO Suite, it becomes part of the natural workflow for imaging projects. IPRO OCR also creates a control list to load into Summation iBlaze automatically, and its text also can be merged with an existing LexisNexis Concordance database.

Secure
IPRO OCR's optional Security Module adheres to the confidential nature of litigation information. Additionally, because the software can scale to any size organization, law firms are now able to complete their own complex OCR tasks in-house for the highest level of access control.
