IPRO Tech, the leader in the design of scalable, easy to manage litigation support software, as well as e‐Discovery software, released IPRO eReview v. 2.1. eReview 2.1 provides powerful new searching options, as well as new views, tagging and review capabilities.
IPRO eReview® is an easy to use, online web‐based document review tool that allows a jumpstart on review and analysis of the evidence. By intercepting and refining data during the processing phase, IPRO eReview helps reduce the time and cost of working dataset export. When complete, IPRO eReview provides a refined dataset, which maximizes potential for quick and accurate e‐discovery results.
According to Monica Paskvan, senior product manager for eReview, customers will realize significant improvements “We have added numerous features that give greater control and options to the end user, and the flexibility continues to grow,” she said.
Searching enhancements
Among the benefits of the new version is the ability to select custodians that will pre‐query and search only those indices containing the specified custodians resulting in faster return of search results. This release also permits the ability to combine text/metadata dtSearches with work product SQL searches using the AND operator.
Viewing enhancements
Family members are viewable after executing a search while maintaining location of current search to determine what further action should be taken with the search result set. Custodians can also be added to the table and metadata views.
Tagging & Review Status
With eReview 2.1, there is now the ability to apply the tag(s) to the result set family relations when applying a tag to a search result set. If a conflict exists with an exclusive tag group, the tag conflict prompt will appear for the User to resolve the conflicts. Users can also set review status (not reviewed, reviewed or pending) on‐the‐fly when applying bulk tags. This is in contrast to the previous version when a tag was applied to a record, the Review Status was set to “Reviewed.” Now, if a conflict exists with an exclusive tag group, the tag conflict prompt will appear for further instructions.
Reports
Finally, eReview 2.1 offers predefined user reports. Users that are not Administrators will now be able to create and download into Excel three reports – Tag, Review Status & Redactions. By downloading the reports, users can customize their reports in Excel to meet their project needs.
